ECCO 3811C — 6.1″ Surface-Mount Directional LED Module (Clear / White, 12-24 V, 7 Flash Patterns, SAE Class I)

Upgrade visibility without bulk using the ECCO 3811C, a compact but powerful surface-mount directional LED designed for clean installs and regulated warning use. With 20 high-intensity LEDs (each with individual reflectors) in a discrete clear housing, the 3811C delivers bright directional output while remaining colorless when inactive. Its 0.4 A draw (12-24 V) makes it energy-efficient, and it supports 7 flash patterns plus synchronization with other ECCO 3811/3861 modules. Certified SAE Class I, this directional LED is ideal for perimeter warning, auxiliary directional light, or accent warning use.

Key Features & Specifications

  • Length: 6.1″; Depth: ~1.3″; Height: ~2.1″
  • Operating voltage: 12–24 V DC, typical current draw ~0.4 A
  • Clear / white single-color directional output (when lit)
  • 7 built-in flash patterns for directional signaling
  • Synchronizable with other 3811 / 3861 series modules for coordinated flashing
  • Surface-mount or grommet versions available for flexible installation
  • Certification & ratings: SAE Class I, CE, R10, R65, IP67 / IP69K, RoHS compliance
Why the 3811C Stands Out

  • Compact, low-profile design ideal for tight mounting locations
  • High-intensity LED array with good directional projection
  • Minimal current draw and broad voltage compatibility
  • Certifiable directional performance (SAE Class I) for regulated use
  • Synchronization support allows multiple units to flash in unison
  • Rugged sealed construction suited to road, vibration, and environmental exposure
Typical Applications

  • Side-perimeter or body-edge directional lighting on trucks and vans
  • Replacement or upgrade for small directional modules in emergency or fleet vehicles
  • Accent or supplementary directional lighting alongside main lightbars
  • Retrofit or surface-mount installs where minimal protrusion is desired
Installation Tips

  • Choose a flat, unobstructed surface to maximize light projection.
  • Use proper grommets or sealed pass-throughs if routing wiring through panels.
  • Fuse your supply close to the power source and use correct gauge wiring.
  • Ensure a solid chassis ground to reduce flicker or electrical noise.
  • If syncing multiple units, follow ECCO’s wiring sequence to preserve pattern alignment.
  • Verify each flash mode prior to final mounting.
  • Periodically inspect lens clarity, mount security, and wiring integrity.
