The ECCO 840N is a robust, heavy-duty back-up alarm designed to offer maximum flexibility and uncompromising safety in the most demanding work environments, including construction, mining, and waste management. Part of the rugged ECCO 800 Series, this unit features a user-selectable volume allowing you to switch between 97 dB(A) for standard operations or a piercing 112 dB(A) for extremely noisy job sites.
Engineered with a durable fiberglass reinforced nylon housing and a reverse-mounted speaker, the 840N is protected from dust, moisture ingress, and physical damage. The internal electronics are fully epoxy-sealed to resist vibration, and the unit is rated for extreme conditions (−40∘F to +185∘F).
The wide operating range of 12-36V DC ensures compatibility across various fleet vehicles, from light trucks to heavy equipment. The ECCO 840N is SAE J994 Type A and Type C compliant and backed by the confidence of the ECCOLIFE™ life-of-the-vehicle warranty.
