Grote 62101 - SuperNova® NexGen™ 4" Round LED Backup Light, Hard Shell Termination – Clear

The Grote 62101 belongs to the elite SuperNova® NexGen™ family, offering a high-performance backup solution for trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment. Delivering bright, white illumination that mirrors daylight, this 4-inch round LED lamp significantly improves visibility during reversing, reducing the risk of accidents. Engineered with Grote's NexGen™ technology, it provides more light than standard LEDs while maintaining an ultra-efficient low amperage draw.

Designed for the rigors of the road, the 62101 features encapsulant potting to provide total circuit-board protection. This hermetic seal prevents water, salt, and debris from damaging the internal electronics, making it ideal for harsh weather and high-pressure washing. Additionally, the clear acrylic lens is treated with a hard coating for ongoing ultraviolet (UV) defense, preventing the clouding and yellowing common in traditional lamps.

This lamp is designed as a direct replacement for standard 4" incandescent or older LED backup lights. It fits all standard 4" lamp grommets and brackets, ensuring a seamless installation. The 62101 features a Hard Shell termination, providing a secure and vibration-resistant connection to your vehicle's wiring harness. Whether used as a single-system (one lamp) or a dual-system (two lamps) setup, it meets all FMVSS 108 and ECE compliance requirements.

• NexGen™ Efficiency: Draws only 0.4A at 12V, leaving more power for other vehicle systems.
• Hermetically Sealed: Encapsulant potting protects against moisture intrusion and corrosion.
• Hard-Coated Lens: Resists UV damage and maintains clarity over years of use.
• Hard Shell Connection: Secure 2-pin hard shell termination for reliable electrical bonding.
• Single & Dual System Capable: Meets backup function legal standards in either configuration.
• Universal Fit: Mounts in industry-standard 4-inch grommets and brackets.
