Grote 62171 - 4" Round Torsion Mount® II Dual-System Backup Light, Female Pin – Clear

Advanced Vibration Protection for the Long Haul

The Grote 62171 is a 4-inch round incandescent backup light engineered for maximum durability in high-vibration environments. Featuring Grote’s patented Torsion Mount® II technology, this lamp includes an internal suspension system that absorbs road shock and vibration. This specialized design significantly extends bulb life and reduces maintenance intervals, making it a favorite for heavy-duty truck and trailer fleets.

Rugged Construction and Reliable Output

Constructed with a high-impact polycarbonate lens and housing, the 62171 is built to withstand the rigors of the road. It utilizes a standard #2057 incandescent bulb that delivers 32 candlepower of brilliant white light, ensuring clear visibility for safer reversing. The lens is sonically sealed to the housing to prevent moisture, dust, and road salt from infiltrating the unit and causing corrosion.

Industry-Standard Fitment

Designed for universal compatibility, this 4-inch round lamp fits all industry-standard grommets and mounting brackets. It features a female pin termination, allowing for a secure, plug-and-play connection with existing wiring harnesses. As a dual-system lamp, it is designed to be installed in pairs to satisfy FMVSS 108 legal requirements for backup light functionality.
