Upgrade your heavy-duty reverse lighting with the Grote 62231 6-Inch Oval Back-Up Light, featuring the industry-leading Torsion Mount® III technology. This incandescent lamp is engineered to withstand the most severe road conditions, making it an essential component for truck and trailer fleets.
The Grote 62231 utilizes the revolutionary Gel-Mount® bulb cradle design, which acts as a shock absorber for the 12V 1157 bulb filament. This superior vibration protection dramatically extends bulb life and reduces the costly downtime associated with frequent bulb changes.
As a Dual-System (Function R(2)) lamp, two units are required to meet the full FMVSS 108 backup light requirements. Built for longevity, the light features a robust polycarbonate housing and a special O-ring seal design that eliminates corrosion and securely locks out moisture and dirt. It easily mounts into standard oval lamp grommets and brackets (sold separately) and uses a Female Pin connection for seamless integration.
