Grote 73030 Heavy-Duty Backup Alarm – Reverse Mounted Speaker, Selectable 107dB or 112dB, 12V/24V

Versatile Audible Warning for High-Noise Environments

The Grote 73030 is a professional-grade, field-selectable backup alarm designed for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Engineered to provide clear, audible warnings in busy work sites, this alarm allows operators to choose between two high-output volume levels—107dB or 112dB. This flexibility ensures your vehicle meets safety requirements across varying ambient noise levels, from standard construction zones to high-decibel industrial yards.

Innovative Reverse Mounted Speaker Design

Unlike standard alarms, the 73030 features a Reverse Mounted Speaker. This unique design enhances sound projection while providing superior protection for the speaker diaphragm against dust, moisture, and high-pressure washing. By directing the sound more effectively toward the rear hazard zone, it improves pedestrian awareness and reduces vehicle downtime caused by alarm failure in harsh conditions.

Rugged Construction & Universal Mounting

Built to survive the toughest conditions, the Grote 73030 is housed in a glass-filled nylon casing that resists corrosion, impact, and extreme temperatures. The electronics are completely sealed in epoxy to protect against vibration and moisture ingress. Its universal mounting design allows for easy installation as a surface mount or into standard 4-inch grommet-mount lighting holes, making it a perfect retrofit for any fleet.
