Grote 87100 HD UltraLink™ 12' Coiled ABS Power Cord – 12" Leads, 7-Way, Green Heavy Duty Electrical Assembly

Superior Power Delivery for ABS-Equipped Trailers

The Grote 87100 HD UltraLink™ ABS Power Cord is the industry standard for reliable tractor-to-trailer electrical connections. Specifically designed for ABS applications, this 12-foot coiled green cable exceeds minimum legal lamp power delivery requirements for both single and double trailer configurations. Its high-performance design ensures that critical safety systems and lighting receive consistent voltage, even in the most demanding long-haul environments.

Crush-Resistant and Weather-Sealed Engineering

Unlike conventional hollow-core designs that can be permanently deformed if run over, Grote's UltraLink™ power cords feature a crush-resistant construction that survives the weight of heavy-duty vehicles. The zinc die-cast plugs are filled with a specialized elastomeric material that acts as a potting agent, completely sealing the solid brass terminals from moisture and corrosion. An innovative adhesive bonds the cable directly to the plug, eliminating the need for a supporting spring and preventing water from entering the back of the connection.

Exceptional Memory and Environmental Resistance

Constructed from high-grade EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), the 87100 offers superior recoil memory, keeping the cord taut and safely off the vehicle deck to prevent sagging and abrasion. The advanced polymer jacketing provides complete sealing and abrasion protection, remaining flexible in extreme cold (-40°F) and stable in high heat (+176°F). With corrosion-resistant solid brass terminals, this cord provides maximum current capacity with minimal voltage drop for long-term electrical integrity.
