Grote 87151 Split Pin Ultra Nose Box® – 7-Way Heavy-Duty Trailer Power Receptacle

Advanced Electrical Protection for the Road Ahead™

The Grote 87151 Ultra Nose Box® is a premium electrical solution designed to provide superior protection and reliable power delivery for heavy-duty trailers. This model features a split pin configuration, engineered to ensure a secure and consistent electrical connection. Built to withstand the harshest environmental conditions, the Ultra Nose Box® shields your critical 7-way connections from moisture, road salt, and debris, preventing the corrosion and power surges that lead to costly downtime.

Robust Engineering and Smart Design

Grote has optimized the 87151 with a focus on durability and ease of use. The revised design includes additional support ribs inside the front cover for a strengthened housing, while the J560b plug area features an updated door and spring to guarantee a secure connection. The angled plug socket provides increased support for power cords, and insert molded pins are utilized to help prevent accidental disconnects during transit.

Organized and Efficient Wire Management

Inside the gray nylon housing, the 87151 offers a 7-threaded post for ring terminal connections and a 39-pin connection layout that eliminates the overcrowding of wires. This spacious interior allows for cleaner routing and easier maintenance of heavy-gauge electrical assemblies. The spring-hinged door keeps the elements out while providing quick, easy access for technicians and drivers alike.
