Grote 87170 UltraLink™ 15' Coiled ABS Power Cord – 12" & 48" Leads, 7-Way, Green Heavy-Duty Electrical Assembly

High-Performance Power Delivery for ABS Systems

The Grote 87170 UltraLink™ ABS Power Cord is a premium 15-foot electrical solution engineered for the rigorous demands of heavy-duty hauling. Designed specifically for ABS applications, this green coiled cord provides a secure, high-performance link between tractor and trailer. It is built to exceed the minimum legal lamp power delivery requirements for both single and double trailer configurations, ensuring consistent voltage to your critical safety systems and lighting.

Crush-Resistant and Weather-Sealed Construction

Durability is at the core of the UltraLink™ design. The Grote 87170 features zinc die-cast plugs filled with a specialized elastomeric material that acts as a potting agent. This completely seals the solid brass terminals against moisture, road salt, and corrosion while providing exceptional crush resistance—the cord is designed to survive even if run over by a heavy-duty vehicle. Furthermore, an innovative adhesive bonds the cable to the plug, removing the need for a supporting spring and preventing moisture from "wicking" into the back of the plug.

Advanced Engineering for the Road Ahead™

Constructed from high-grade EVA material, this power cord boasts superior recoil memory, keeping the cable taut and safely off the vehicle deck to prevent sagging and abrasion. Featuring a unique lead configuration with a 12" lead and a 48" lead, it offers the versatility needed for various tractor-trailer setups. The advanced polymer jacketing remains flexible in extreme cold (-40°F) and maintains its integrity in intense heat (+176°F), providing superior chemical and abrasion resistance.
