Grote 87171 Premium UltraLink™ 12' Straight ABS Power Cord – 7-Way, Green Polyurethane Electrical Assembly

The Professional Standard for ABS Power Delivery

The Grote 87171 Premium UltraLink™ ABS Power Cord is a high-performance, 12-foot straight electrical assembly designed for fleets that demand the highest levels of durability and conductivity. Engineered specifically for ABS applications, this green power cord exceeds minimum legal lamp power delivery requirements for both single and double trailer configurations. As part of the Premium UltraLink™ line, it provides a robust, reliable connection for the "Road Ahead™."

Advanced Polyurethane Jacket for Extreme Durability

Unlike standard power cords, the 87171 is constructed with an advanced polyurethane jacketing material. This premium material provides complete sealing and superior abrasion protection, remaining flexible and resilient in temperatures ranging from -85°F to 212°F (-65°C to 100°C). This extreme temperature range ensures that your electrical connection remains secure and operational in the harshest arctic or desert environments, while offering excellent resistance to chemicals and fuel.

Crush-Resistant, Weather-Tight Engineering

Safety and longevity are built into every Grote UltraLink™ cord. The zinc die-cast plugs are filled with a specialized elastomeric potting material that seals the solid brass terminals from moisture and corrosion. This crush-resistant design is built to survive being run over by heavy-duty vehicles—a scenario that permanently deforms conventional hollow-core cords. Additionally, a specialized adhesive bonds the cable to the plug, eliminating the need for a supporting spring and preventing moisture from entering the back of the connection.
