Grote 87180 HD UltraLink™ 15' Coiled Power Cord – 72" & 12" Leads, 7-Way, Heavy-Duty Electrical Assembly

Extended Reach and Maximum Reliability for Heavy-Duty Hauling

The Grote 87180 HD UltraLink™ Power Cord is the professional’s choice for versatile tractor-to-trailer electrical connections. Featuring a 15-foot coiled working length and a specialized 72" (tractor-side) and 12" (trailer-side) lead configuration, this cord provides the extra reach necessary for complex setups. Part of the UltraLink™ series, it is engineered to exceed minimum legal lamp power delivery requirements for both single and double trailer configurations.

Crush-Resistant and Weather-Sealed Engineering

Designed to thrive in the harshest environments, the 87180 features zinc die-cast plugs filled with a specialized elastomeric material. This "potting" process completely seals the solid brass terminals from moisture, road salt, and corrosion while providing superior crush resistance. Grote’s innovative design uses a specialized adhesive to bond the cable directly to the plug, eliminating the need for a supporting spring and preventing water from entering the back of the housing—ensuring your electrical system stays protected for the "Road Ahead™."

Superior Memory and Material Science

Constructed from high-grade EVA material, the 87180 offers exceptional recoil memory. This ensures the cord stays taut and safely off the vehicle deck, preventing the sagging and abrasion that lead to premature cable failure. The advanced polymer jacketing remains flexible in extreme cold (-40°F) and stable in intense heat (up to 176°F). With corrosion-resistant solid brass terminals that offer superior current capacity and minimal voltage drop, this power cord is built for long-haul durability.
