Engineered for ultimate physical security, the housing and the gray mounting flange of the Truck-Lite SS6053-S are molded together out of impact-resistant polycarbonate to form a single, seamless piece. This unibody design creates an exceptionally solid mount that won't shake loose or degrade over time. Because it is powered by a specialized array of 24 high-output red diodes, it completely lacks breakable internal filaments, making the light completely immune to heavy chassis shock and intense road vibrations.
Epoxy-Encapsulated Weatherproof Seal
The Truck-Lite 6053 is purpose-built to survive the most punishing outdoor fleet conditions. It features epoxy-encapsulated internal electronics that create an unyielding barrier against moisture, internal fogging, terminal corrosion, and road grime. The sonic-welded red polycarbonate lens is fused permanently to the gray backing frame to form a completely sealed unit. For immediate electrical integration, the back of the housing uses an industry-standard right-angle PL-3 pin connection (compatible with pigtails like Truck-Lite 94993).
